RELATIONSHIPS = your greatest resource to enhance abundance & happiness!

Often times, people are drawn to feng shui because they believe it can help enhance certain areas of their life like money, relationships, love, career, etc.

And indeed it can! One way to approach feng shui is through working with the bagua, which is a tool that splits up your home into 9 different “life aspiration” areas. More on that here.

There’s a catch though.

While you might think…ok so, if I want to make more money - I just need to do things in my life and my home that enhance “wealth & abundance” right?? Well - that’s one way to approach it, and a more layered, holistic approach could be to look at the area of life that directly enhances wealth & abundance, which is…

Helpful People & Synchronicity!

Makes sense right? If you think about all the jobs you’ve ever had, the opportunities that have come into your life, or support that showed up when you needed it most - you’ll see that they’re often connected to the people you know. When we nourish our connections & relationships, all kinds of amazing things can show up in our life - from inspirations and solutions to problems you’ve been trying to solve for weeks, to new perspectives, to new opportunities & doors opening.

How do you tap into this powerful resource? Check out the video below for a simple, life-changing practice you can start today.

After looking at shifts you can make in your mindset & lifestyle - I always turn to your environment next to look at how we can reinforce an important goal or intention.

Where can you find it?

If you want to boost the “helpful people & synchronicity” area of your home, the first step is to locate it. If you’ve just walked in the door to your home and look directly to the right, the helpful people area is going to be in that far right corner. You can also apply this to any room of your house, and I like to start with the main first floor.

The Helpful People & Synchronicity area is all about connection.

Connection to the people in your life, connection to your spiritual practice or divine guidance and overall connection to any loving, compassionate energy that nourishes you.

It represents all the people you want to support & serve, and all those who support you. This could show up as charitable organizations, service work, or how you look out for your neighbors.

It is about compassion & how you treat all of the people around you. Travel is also frequently represented in this area and all those you connect with on your journeys. You could also think of it as being in theYour connection to a pet could show up here too as they can be such a loving energy in our lives.

As we’ve talked about already, this area also fuels your abundance & financial expansion. When this area of your life is thriving, all kinds of beautiful synchronicities begin to show up.

Before looking at the more traditional ways you can enhance this area of your home, try reflecting on these questions:

  • What relationships stand out to you that you’d want to nourish or are important? What images, colors, or symbols might connect you to those people?

  • Do you have a spiritual connection that supports you? What imagery, objects, colors, etc leave you feeling connected to that divine source?

  • What connections do you want to explore or cultivate more? How could you symbolize them in this area?

After reflecting on those, see if you can pull out any intuitive ways that show up for YOU to enhance this space and remind you of your personal intentions. The most powerful feng shui adjustments you can make in your space will always be a unique reflection of your personality, goals or intentions.

If you want to explore some traditional enhancements and see what has a positive impact on you, here are some supportive additions you could bring to this space:

  • Anything that represents the metal element: whites, grays, metallics, or pastels, anything made of metal, circular shapes, etc.

  • Splashes of the earth element: yellows, earth tones, pottery, ceramic, clay, squares, etc.

  • Spiritual mementos or alters

  • Keepsakes from travels or things that remind you adventure
