Your home = your greatest manifesting tool!
When looking through the lens of feng shui – there are many layers to evaluate and I start with the foundations. I’m initially looking to make sure nothing in the house is draining your energy and you have a positive, clear space to build off of. That includes evaluating things like:
Making sure your front door is openly welcoming in positive energy.
Ensuring the energy flows smoothly and freely throughout the space.
Eliminating any clutter that’s causing stagnant or stuck energy.
Enhancing feelings of safety, power and protection through command position.
Once you clear or shift anything that’s draining your energy, you have a positive, clean slate to work with. That’s where you can take it to the next level with the bagua!
The Bagua:
The bagua is a map you can lay over your floor plan that breaks up the space into 9 “life aspiration” areas. Each area has certain elements, colors, shapes and symbols that enhance the energy in that area.
Once you understand where those areas fall, you can choose enhancements that feel right to you in order to amplify your intentions and desires in that area. You can even place this map over a single room, desk, etc if you want to see where the areas fall in a smaller space!
So how do you turn your home into a crazy powerful manifesting tool??
Just like you’d create a vision board to remind you of your intentions, commitments, values and desires you can do the same with your home using the bagua!
Once you get clear on what’s most important to you in your life, you can look at the sections that correspond to those areas and add items, symbols, colors, etc that amplify the energy there.
For example – one of my clients wanted to focus their goals and intentions on growing in their career. In order to “activate” the energy in this space they placed a beautiful mosaic wreath on the front door to bring more energy, vibrancy, and personal connection to the space!
If you look at the bagua map – you’ll notice that darker colors and glass textures activate this area, which is what this wreath is made of! Now – every time they walk through the front door they’re reminded of the positive energy that’s being drawn to this area of their life and the intentions they set.
I have to say though – this is not magic! You can’t just place a plant in your “wealth & abundance” area and call it a day and expect a big, fat check in your mailbox tomorrow.
Just like you can’t set a goal to lose weight and just look at your bike every day, never get on it, and hope you drop 20 pounds!
The beauty of feng shui is it’s power to create a space that feels good to you, nourishes your mental and physical health, and reminds you of what’s truly important to you. Then it’s up to YOU to embrace the energetic boost it gives you and ensure your thoughts and actions are also aligned with your goals and intentions.
When all of those things come together, that's when the magic TRULY happens!
Another key to this work is to not expect certain results.
Activating the energy in your “romance and relationships” corner may stir up or bring about certain experiences that at first seem “bad” – and are actually an opportunity to learn and grow in a way that makes you more open to call in a romantic partner.
Expecting and needing your life to look a certain way, and trying to predict and control everything about it is a recipe for worry, anxiety and unhappiness.
